Established in honour of our founder, this award is given to five Real Estate Management students each year to help financially support their educations. The Otis Family's commitment to education spans generations, and we understand the importance of providing financial assistance to talented students who may not have the means to pursue their dreams.
On April 29, 2019, the Otis Family was recognized at a dinner hosted by Ryerson President Mohamed Lachemi and TRSM Dean Daphne Taras for their dedication to supporting the education of future real estate leaders. During the event, a new sign for the classroom named in Ron Otis' honor was unveiled, and the award recipients were featured in a video where they expressed their gratitude for the opportunities the award has given them.
